Most service businesses are stuck between software built for national chains and whatever’s held together by whoever has time.
We show up before we sell anything.

Where it actually breaks.
One job, moving through a normal week — and the five points where it quietly costs money.
— — — nothing carries forward automatically
These are the common ones. The one actually costing you the most is probably specific to how your shop runs — tell us below.

Sound familiar?
Invoices sitting 30+ days unpaid.
A quote nobody followed up on.
A truck rolling without the part it needs.
Nobody knows profit by job until it’s too late.
Who we are
Two builders. No sales team.
We’re two founders who’ve done this before — we’ve exited companies in the past, gone through Y Combinator, and spent years inside genuinely complicated operations across manufacturing, healthcare, e-commerce and retail.
That work taught us something: as automation gets more powerful, it mostly goes to the businesses that can already afford it. We started Baseplate for everyone else — the operators who can’t justify an expensive, out-of-the-box system, but deserve the same leverage. Real automation, built around how they actually work, so they can run a tighter shop and take better care of the customers in front of them.
Tell us what’s broken.
No pitch, no demo, no pricing on this page. Just tell us the one thing costing you the most right now.
Got it.
We’ll be in touch.
